WHITNEY KING COONS
Amber has been twirling since she was 5 years old and has been with Twirl ATX since she was 10. She is currently a sophomore Feature Twirler at North Carolina State University!
Amber graduated from Stony Point High School in May 2023, where she was a Feature Twirler and on the Varsity Basketball Team.
Amber is the 2024 College Miss Majorette of North Carolina, as well as a 2023 & 2025 Member of the USA World Baton Twirling Team.
Jordan has been twirling with the Twirl ATX Coaches since she was 8 years old. She is currently a sophomore at Clemson University, where she spent her freshman year as a Tiger Twirler.
Jordan graduated from Stony Point High School in May 2023, where she was a Feature Twirler, flute player, and President of the SPHS Band.
Jordan is a 2025 Member of the USA World Baton Twirling Team.

ANNA LILIE
A former student of Major Margaret Mann, Ashley started twirling at age 12 and competed in NBTA competitions into college winning many State & Regional titles. Ashley is an NBTA & AAU Certified Judge who has judged local & out-of-state contests, AAU Jr. Olympics, High School & College auditions, Canadian Nationals, and NBTA Nationals (AYOP). Ashley is also the 2021 recipient of the NBTA Texas State Texan Coach Award.
During the day, Ashley is a Middle School Social Studies teacher, and owner of Catch This! & TexasTwirl.com. When not teaching or judging, Ashley spends time with her children, Jason and Hailey, and her husband, Jay. Ashley also has an MBA from Texas State University and serves as the Twirl ATX Business Manager.

ADDISON LEE
Meet The Twirl ATX Coaches
A former student of Bethany Evans Tolley, Whitney started twirling at the age of 6. She also benefited from the instruction of Ann Nita McDonald. She competed in local, Texas State, Southwest Regional and National Competitions, winning over 100 titles throughout her career. Whitney then moved on to field twirling and was the 2004-2007 University of Texas Feature Twirler.
Whitney now enjoys spending time with her sweet children, Callum & Clara, and her husband Brad. She works for Sailpoint as an IT HR Manager, and teaches twirling lessons in the evenings and on the weekends. Whitney is also an NBTA Certified judge as well as the Judge for the State UIL Twirling Solo & Ensemble contest each Spring.
Anna has been twirling with the Twirl ATX Coaches since she was 7 years old. She is currently a freshman Twirler at Texas Tech University!
Anna graduated from Austin High School in May 2024, where she was the Feature Twirler. She is also a two-time Miss Texas' Teen Prelim Overall Talent Winner & the Non-Finalist variety Talent Winner in 2022 & 2023.
Anna is the 2024 Texas State Collegiate Downfield Champion.

AMBER SORENSON
Jassandra began twirling at the age of 7 in her hometown of San Diego, CA. Her passion and dedication to the sport led her to compete in local, state, regional, and national competitions. She also had the honor of being a Feature Twirler for the University of Houston from 2016-2020!
Now settled in Austin, TX, Jassandra is recently married and enjoys spending her time with her husband and friends. They often attend various sports games, with a special love for Houston Basketball - Go Coogs! She currently works as a Donor Relations Coordinator at the Central Texas Food Bank.
Shaylee has been twirling with the Twirl ATX Coaches since she was 8 years old. She is currently participating in the Texas A&M University bridge program.
Shaylee graduated from Liberty Hill High School in May 2023, where she was the Feature Twirler, as well as a dance soloist in the band.
Shaylee was 2023 State Sr. Royalty, and the 2022 16 yo Intermediate National Solo Winner.

JOSIE LINSON
Josie has been twirling with the Twirl ATX Coaches since she was 8 years old. She was a multi time State pageant winner and a 2018 UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble Outstanding Performer, as well as a Feature Twirler at the University of Missouri from 2019-2023 and Round Rock High School (class of 2019).
Josie graduated from the University of Missouri in Spring 2023. Currently she is in physical therapy school at San Angelo State University.

Addison has been twirling with the Twirl ATX Coaches since she was 10 years old. She is currently a freshman Twirler at Texas Tech University!
Addison graduated from Goldthwaite High School in May 2024, where she was a Feature Twirler and the saxophone section leader.
Addison is the 2023 Intermediate Senior Southwest Regional & Texas State Solo Winner and 2023 Intermediate Senior Texas State X-Strut Winner.

AIDYN MENTRY
Aidyn has been twirling since she was little, but has been twirling with Twirl ATX Coaches for 3 years. She is currently a senior and the Feature Twirler at the University of Texas.
When in High School, Aidyn had the honor of being named the 2018 Junior Intermediate National Pageant Winner at AYOP.
Aidyn is the 2024 College Miss Majorette of Texas and Texas College Solo Champion, as well as a 2025 Member of Team USA.
